Indoors, the screen m505 (without light) looks different. For example, under the lamp "daylight" he looks like a monochrome screen machine (in such conditions will look like drawn with colored chalk). If you go to the window - the general form of the screen changes (background is a lighter color and icons have become noticeably brighter). And in fact, and in another case, the screen m505 is a good "read." Backlight, m505 can also be used in dark environments, and in the light. In the first case (in the twilight, in the dark, etc.) the screen becomes like those color screen handheld, to which we are accustomed to - a bright, almost white background. Similarly, changing and icons: lost, "pastel" and they become, if I may say so, "the usual colored icons. When you use the light, the light behaves quite interesting, depending on the general conditions of illumination. Under certain conditions it does not change almost anything (even difficult to understand at once - is included or not). With others - decide "the angle of incidence of light" - that is, in average lighting conditions, can be "as usual" turn it to the car, the light shines on the screen and you can just turn on the backlight (in this case, the screen becomes brighter, but will very clear). Only, in my opinion, the lack of screen m505 - is the lack of ability to adjust brightness and contrast. But, considering that the screen m505, as I said, well-read, practical, under any circumstances - it is not critical. Especially because many "wishes of the workers" to give them the opportunity to adjust the brightness and contrast in its sole discretion - can be heard from the developers and implemented in a future update-e OS. After working for a week with m505, I have concluded that all the arguments about a good screen from this machine or poor - have no meaning. M505 screen is impossible to estimate, using the criteria of "good" / "bad." It is just different. New, unusual, but very comfortable, well-read, clear color screen.
